First I want to say how much of an honor it was to present a lifetime achievement award to my Dad. He certainly deserves it and I couldn't be happier having my family there to help me present it to him. I caught up with so many of my friends in the music business and we took some great pics. Check them out on the photos page. Well the music store is in work and I have to say I am excited about being able to give you more of my music. Last night was such an affirmation that so many of you want to get ahold of my music. I will keep you posted as to what the progress is and keep signing my guest book. The website is currently under construction and I have a lot of GREAT stuff to share with you. This site will have music, pictures and loads of content for you to catch up on. And by just getting an ear full of his newest single "Recadito" he is right, Tejano is on the rise again. Rick has been working on his solo project for awhile and it has paid off. Feeling, Feeling, Feeling, is just what you sense when you hear those three Balderrama voices on his new single. The song hits the nail on the head with all Tejano listeners who have ever had a long distance love in lives or just want to dance on the dance floor. I assure you that you will not be disappointed with this one..... Just lend an ear and judge for yourself... Now Rick has not completed his full CD because, he has been asked by legendary songwriter / producer / vocalist "Joe Revelez" of Los Dudes to join forces and lend his vocal abilities to Joe's newest project which is being released in the next few weeks. Rick has completed the project with Joe and some of the hits on that CD are "Superman/Supermantenido" a catchy cumbia that will have everyone moving around the dance floor. And then some of the Rancheras will have everyone shuffling the floor as well. "To promote Tejano Music is my first priority and when Joe ask me to work with him, my answer was when, where and what time", Says Rick. Well now that you have the latest on what is happening there will be more to come. As today Rick will be touring with Joe Revelez (Los Dudes) also on tour with Rick are two of Tejano's industries accomplished musicians brother Rich Balderrama on saxophone and Gil Escobedo (son of Gibby Escobedo of Latin Breed) on Drums. Having a legendary artist like Joe Revelez and incorporating sons of legends in Rick, Rich and Gil, this group promises to be a strong force for all Tejano listeners. - BG
